This is a story about a man,
A rude man, who left his woman.
A woman, kind-hearted and gorgeous,
Signed over to fate, so ugly.


I am with her every day,
Lending her suppport,
She should not grieve for a husband,
who left her in the lurch


Up to this day he seemed fine
'Til late in the night something changed
He jabbered about running out of time
Everyone, but himself, he blamed

He looked me straight in the eye,
And he said "Shop-O-mat,
What might my purpose be?"
And I said "Gilligan,
Don't you see, what you have?
A shop, a wife and me!"


Then he got very upset,
He laughed and he screamed maniacly,
He then said "I'll go to bed,
Tomorrow will be different, please leave."


That was the last time, I ever saw,
In the morning, he was gone,
She cried on my shoulder 'til her cheeks went raw,
She must have felt so alone.

We worried, we wept, but time never slept,
Now she is about to forget Ill-mannered Mister Gilligan
